Oh! My Talent (Web)

An agency working with well known brands had a slow site still carrying sections the business had dropped. We rebuilt it around a single destination, and retired the old pages with 38 redirects.

Oh! My Talent runs influencer campaigns, events and social for well known brands. Its site said something else. It loaded slowly and it was still carrying sections that had left the business.

Where it started

An agency that runs campaigns for recognizable brands is judged on its own work first. A prospective client looks at the site before the deck, and a slow site carrying three services the agency had stopped offering makes an argument nobody intended.

The dead sections were the harder half of the problem. They had been live long enough to rank and to collect links, so they could not simply be deleted. Every one of them needed somewhere sensible to land.

The challenge

The site had to match the brands the agency works with: trust in the first few seconds, services and work organized, and the visitor taken to one place, the contact form.

With one condition attached. None of the ranking they already had could be lost on the way.

The solution

We redesigned and rebuilt the site from the ground up, with one visual system across every page: typefaces with some character, the brand’s black, white and magenta, and a careful finish.

More than twelve new pages, linked to each other, quick, and checked on phone, tablet and desktop.

The architecture

More than twelve pages, arranged so each one has a single job. Home, services split into influencers and events on one side and social on the other, the work, the team, and contact.

The split in services was the decision that mattered. The agency sells two quite different things to two quite different budgets, and a combined page served neither. Separated, each one can make its own argument and bring its own search traffic, with the blog underneath feeding both.

What we did

  • Digital brand identity. Color, type and detail to one standard, so the brand looks equally considered on any page.
  • Architecture built for contact. Home, services split into influencers and events or social, work, about and contact, with the route marked.
  • Components with movement. Video hero, a brand ribbon, animated figures and easing transitions built with GSAP and Lenis.
  • Structure that search can read. Copy and organization aimed at ranking in Valencia, with the blog integrated and ready to bring traffic.
  • The same experience on any screen. Responsive, checked device by device, with navigation that stays clear on a phone.
  • Performance and a clean migration. Images moved to WebP, 81 percent lighter, tidy code, and 38 redirects to retire the old sections while keeping the URLs that were ranking.

The migration

Thirty eight redirects, written one at a time. Each retired address points at the page that now does its job, which is what keeps the equity those old pages had accumulated and stops a visitor from a two year old link hitting a dead end.

Alongside that, the images moved to WebP and came out 81 percent lighter. On an agency site built around video and motion, that is the difference between the hero playing and the visitor leaving before it does.

What this one shows

  • Retiring pages is a technical job. Deleting them is how sites lose traffic in a redesign.
  • Motion is allowed to cost something, within reason. Hence the weight work, so the effects are affordable.
  • One destination. Every page on the site leads to the same place, and the architecture enforces it.

The result

The site is now level with the agency’s work: ordered, quick, with one clear destination. The sections that had left the business left the site too, through 38 redirects, each old address pointing at whichever page now does its job. That piece of work is what protects the ranking that was already there.
